  • Mobilized a successful community-wide effort to advocate for an increase in Chapter 70 funding from the Commonwealth, including drafting emails and writing a script for people to use when calling our state-level reps. The result? Gov. Healey just announced a significant increase to Chapter 70 school aid, adding $586 million to her proposed budget. Westwood is slated to receive a much larger increase in Chapter 70 school aid than we previously anticipated. See my remarks here.

    • Led the Friday Night Fun initiative: grade-specific events to bolster social development for TMS students [Read 03.15.2023 article in the Westwood Minute]

    • Researched and secured survivor speaker for 8th-grade Holocaust unit

    • Strengthened parent community via Facebook group: membership increased from the 30s to 400+ members

    • PTO annual dues contributions increased by 48% while in leadership, signaling strong support for PTO activities and direction

  • Nominated and served on the hiring committee for the new Dean of Students position at TMS (2022)

  • Served as contributing editor to the Inclusive Westwood comment on recent publicity (2022)

  • Downey School PTO member, 2018-present

  • Nominated to Vice President, Portage Collaborative Montessori School District Board; Canton, OH (2017)

  • Chair, PCMS Spring Gala, raised a record $21,000 (2017) and $18,000 (2016)
